Fatal road accident between lorry and car – Four youths died near Sampaje

Sullia : Four youths lost their lives when a car collided with a lorry on the Mani–Mysuru National Highway near Koyanadu in Madikeri taluk on Friday, July 25.

The deceased have been identified as Nihad, Rizwan, Rashib and Rishu, residents of Market Road in Gonikoppal, Kodagu district.

The accident occurred while the group was returning to their hometown from Ullal. The collision was so intense that all four occupants of the car died on the spot.

The bodies have been shifted to Sullia hospital, and necessary formalities are underway. Kodagu police have visited the scene and are conducting further investigation.

Efforts are ongoing to inform the families of the deceased.
