Bengaluru: The prestigious “Jalahalli Ramayya Cup” state-level men’s and women’s kabaddi tournament will be held in Padmanabha Nagar from July 10 to 13.
The tournament, taking place at the Carmel School Playground (Vajpayee Playground) in Padmanabha Nagar, will commence on Thursday at 5 PM.
R. Ashok, the Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, organizes this annual event in memory of his late father, K. Ramayya, and has arranged a kabaddi tournament this year.
The Karnataka State Amateur Kabaddi Association and the Bengaluru District Amateur Kabaddi Association are also collaborating.
The three-day tournament will feature renowned kabaddi players. Matches will begin daily at 5 PM, with cash prizes awarded to the winning men’s and women’s teams.
Additionally, awards will be given for the best raider, best defender, and player of the series.
Each match promises an exciting kabaddi experience for sports enthusiasts, and Ashok has urged spectators to attend in large numbers to make the tournament a success.
