Shetty have shown towards our coastal districts and me personally compelled me to attend this event despite of my busy schedule, said the Honourable Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly, U.T. Khader, at the 25th Foundation Day of Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti (R.).
The event was held on September 5 at Hotel Peninsula Grand, Sakinaka, under the presidentship of Nityananda D. Kotian in the presence of the Founder Thonse Jayakrishna A. Shetty, Speaker U.T. Khader said, The culture we see globally can be found in India, particularly in Karnataka, and more specifically in Tulunadu. Events like this in Mumbai reflect the richness of Tulunad’s culture. I am here today as a witness to the environmental journey the Samiti has undertaken over the past 25 years. The Samiti is working towards the development of the region in an environmentally sustainable manner for the future generation. A report for the next 100 years has already been submitted and Thonse Jayakrishna A. Shetty often expresses his concerns about the region’s development, which I consider my duty to respond to. When children from all castes, religions, rich or poor, live together like siblings, growth happens naturally. All organizations must lead in creating such an atmosphere for dialogue and harmony,” he said. “God has created all humans equally. We must serve those in distress, regardless of caste or religion. Respecting other religions while following our own should be our path forward. Ignore criticism concentrate Development bring all the community together, he said.

Today, 25 community organizations were honoured, which is truly commendable. People like Thonse Jayakrishna A. Shetty, born in a respected Jain household of Baggu Chauta, Balu Chauta family, “Though he himself did not enter politics, Thonse Jayakrishna A. Shetty could reform the politicians. He praised Speaker U.T. Khader’s legacy of promoting religious harmony and noted the significance of the event coinciding with Teachers’ Day. “Jayakrishna Shetty’s father was a teacher. *The Samiti will continue to work more higher level – Thonse Jayakrishna A. Shetty
In his key note address founder of Jayashreekrishna Parisara Samiti Thonse Jayakrishna A. Shetty said “Over the past 25 years, with support from prominent leaders and politicians, we have implemented several development projects in our districts through the government. The contribution of George Fernandes was enormous. With experienced presidents guiding us today, I’m confident our future plans will reach higher levels. People of all faiths visit Dharmasthala and receive the offering (prasada), and this should be continued. We have met Dr. Veerendra Heggade regarding this. It is commendable that the government has taken appropriate action in this regard. Today, the entire world stands on the foundation of faith. We have already addressed communal harmony through press meets and presented our 100 year development plan to our Speaker U.T. Khader, urging the government to act quickly,” he said.
*Nityananda D. Kotian, President of the Samiti, said:
“Jayakrishna Shetty has inspired this organization’s growth. He is the son of an award-winning teacher and has given an ideal son to the society. With the blessings of George Fernandes, we continue forward. We remember those who were part of the Samiti at its inception but are no longer with us. If we continue to stay united, we will surely succeed. The fact that Speaker Speaker U.T. Khader has responded to our 100-year plan is highly appreciated.”
*Praveen Bhoja Shetty (President, Bunts Sangha Mumbai): “This is the only committee in the country that transcends caste and religion. With God’s blessings, the Samiti has fulfilled all its goals. Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty is like a walking god to Mumbaikars.”
*Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty (Noted Industrialist): “There is opposition when somebody started new industries, and sometimes plants have to be shut. But the Samiti is genuinely working for the development of the districts. I extend my full support and pledge to work together for development.”
*K.P. Jagadish Adhikari (State Coordinator): Speaker UT Khader’s philosophy of ‘raising children as assets, not leaving them wealth’ aligns with our ideals. Our Samiti was formed in response to anti-environmental forces. Many elders from various communities supported us in the beginning. Let us all work together like one family for the district’s growth.”
