MLA Vedavyas Kamath Felicitation to Sub Lieutenant Nishel Flora Almeida: A Proud Moment for Tulunadu

Mangaluru : City South MLA D. Vedavyas Kamath paid a special visit to the residence of Miss Nishel Flora Almeida at Kulashekar Konguru to personally congratulate and honor her on being commissioned as a Sub Lieutenant in the Indian Navy. The legislator expressed immense pride in her remarkable achievement, which has brought great honor to the coastal region.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Vedavyas Kamath highlighted that Nishel—the daughter of Naveen Almeida and Chris Evert D’Souza—has become an absolute inspiration for the younger generation by joining the armed forces. He noted that the grand and affectionate welcome given to her by the residents of Konguru beautifully reflects the deep respect and gratitude the local community holds for the nation’s defense forces. The MLA extended his heartfelt wishes to the young naval officer for a distinguished and successful career in the service of Mother India.
