MSNIM Inaugurates First BBA and B.Com Undergraduate Batch

Mangaluru : The Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) formally inaugurated its first batch of undergraduate students under the banner Vidhyarambh at its campus in Bondel on Monday, July 27. The programme marked the commencement of the Institute’s regular and integrated BBA and B.Com undergraduate programmes under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Manel Annappa Nayak, President of the Women’s National Education Society (WNES), inaugurated the programme and presided over the function. Jeevandas Narayan, Vice President, WNES, Ajith Kamath and K.V. Raghava Kamath, Joint Correspondents of MSNIM and Members of the Governing Council, WNES, were the guests of honour. Dr. Shilpi Saha, Director-in-charge, MSNIM, and Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Director, LeAF Academy, were also present.

Addressing the students, Jeevandas Narayan said lasting success depends on self-motivation rather than external encouragement. “While parents, teachers and mentors can inspire us, the strongest motivation must come from within. The future is shaped not by circumstances but by determination,” he observed.

Ajith Kamath emphasised the importance of discipline and motivation in achieving personal and professional goals. He said discipline helps individuals remain focused and consistent, while motivation provides the drive to overcome challenges and build a successful future.

In his presidential address, Manel Annappa Nayak urged students to make the best use of the Institute’s academic environment, infrastructure and learning facilities. He encouraged them to strive for excellence in their studies and thanked parents for reposing their confidence in the Institution by choosing it for their children’s higher education.

Dr. Shilpi Saha welcomed the gathering. Disha, a first-year B.Com student, led the prayer. Assistant Professor Keshava introduced the Institute’s cells and student associations and proposed the vote of thanks. Assistant Professor Divya Achar compered the programme.
