Mangaluru : As per the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India, the Special Summary Revision (SSR/SIR) process is currently underway in full swing across Dakshina Kannada district. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are actively conducting door-to-door visits to distribute enumeration forms to residents and oversee the subsequent digitization work. This extensive field verification and enumeration drive is scheduled to continue until July 29.
According to an official release from the Deputy Commissioner’s office, the district currently records a total voter count of 1,803,766. Out of the total target, 102,035 enumeration forms have already been distributed to households across the region. Furthermore, the administration has successfully digitized 3,109 of these collected enumeration forms as part of the initial phase of the updates.
