Mangaluru : South MLA Vedavyas Kamath personally visited the residence of B. Vishruth Krishna R. Bhat in Bendorewell to felicitate him for his extraordinary performance in the national-level engineering entrance exams. Vishruth achieved an outstanding All India Rank (AIR) of 79 in the JEE Advanced 2026 and secured the 335th rank in the JEE Mains 2026. The MLA wrapped a traditional shawl and presented sweets to the young achiever, commending his dedication and hard work.
Vishruth is the son of an illustrious academic and medical duo—Dr. Badekai Ramachandra Bhat, a professor at NITK Surathkal, and Dr. Poornima R. Bhat, a well-known obstetrician and gynecologist in Mangaluru. By securing these ranks, Vishruth has not only emerged as the topper for the twin districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi but has also distinguished himself as one of the top 10 rankers in the entire state of Karnataka.
Extending his warmest wishes, MLA Vedavyas Kamath stated that Vishruth’s academic triumph has brought immense pride to the entire coastal region.
