Udupi Native Brutally Murdered in Sharjah; Missing Wife and Son Under Suspicion!

Udupi: In a shocking incident, a man originating from Udupi was brutally murdered in Sharjah, UAE, and the news has come to light belatedly. The deceased has been identified as Prakash Kundar, who was residing in Sharjah along with his wife and minor son. Following the murder, Prakash’s wife, Tina, and their son have gone missing, raising serious suspicions regarding their whereabouts and potential involvement.

According to reports, Prakash had attempted to communicate with his brother in India around July 20. While he usually preferred sending voice messages, this time his brother received text messages instead. When his brother insisted on having a phone call, the communication was abruptly cut off. Concerned by this unusual behavior, the family contacted Prakash’s employer in Sharjah, only to be told that he had left for India. However, when Prakash failed to reach his native place, the panicked family approached the authorities in Sharjah.

Upon receiving a missing person complaint, the Sharjah police initiated a search operation for Prakash. During the investigation, officers discovered his body hidden inside his own car. Reports indicate that Prakash was murdered and his body was dismembered into multiple pieces.

With his wife Tina, who worked as a teacher, and their son—a 10th-grade student—currently untraceable, police suspect her involvement in the gruesome crime. Investigators are probing whether she played a role in the murder or fled Sharjah under different circumstances, with suspicions that they may have traveled to India. Family members mentioned that the couple had been married for around 20 years and there were no known major disputes between them. Prakash, who worked at the Sharjah Airport, had last visited his hometown in December last year. The family is currently waiting for legal formalities to be completed in Sharjah so that his remains can be repatriated to India.
