Mangaluru : Rohan Corporation hosted a grand felicitation ceremony at Rohan City in Bejai on Saturday to honor the winners of the 72nd National Film Awards from the region. The event was presided over by Dion Monteiro, Director of Rohan Corporation, where prominent awardees Roopashree Varkady, Master Athish S. Shetty, Dr. Pradeep Kenchanuru, Shivadhwaja Shetty, and producer Prashanth Rai were warmly felicitated for their remarkable achievements.
The honorees included Roopashree Varkady, who won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film ‘Mithya’, and Master Athish S. Shetty, who received the Best Child Artist award for the same movie. Additionally, Dr. Pradeep Kenchanuru was recognized for his award-winning book on cinema, while director Shivadhwaja Shetty and producer Prashanth Rai were honored for ‘Imbu’, which was named the Best Tulu Film at the 72nd National Film Awards. Expressing their delight and gratitude to Rohan Corporation, the awardees shared their inspiring journeys and experiences with the audience.
Presiding over the function, Dion Monteiro congratulated the award winners, stating that their extraordinary accomplishments have brought immense pride to the entire region.
