Mangaluru : The case of the Dharmasthala complainant has taken a new turn. Although he visited the Belthangady court and police station on July 11 and gave a detailed statement and handed over the skeletan, the Dakshina Kannada district police have not conducted a proper investigation so far, but instead are suspecting the complainant and the witness, his lawyer has alleged.
On Wednesday, the lawyer and the complainant had come to Dharmasthala and returned without incident. The police did not meet them. It was hoped that the place where the skeletan were taken from the complainant to the police could be visited. But that did not happen. The complainant and his lawyer, who came and returned, have now complained to the Dakshina Kannada district police in a press release.
