Belthangady native Usha Rani appointed judge of Karnataka High Court

Belthangady : Usha Rani, a native of Belthangady taluk, has been appointed as a judge of the High Court of Karnataka.

Prior to her elevation to the High Court, she served as the Principal District and Sessions Judge in Mysuru.

An alumna of SDM College in Ujire, Usha Rani is the daughter of the late Nemiraja Shetty, who was a respected senior advocate in Belthangady.
