Ujire : Goddess Lakshmi remains steady and benevolent in places where both mind and home are kept pure and clean, stated Shraddha Amit, CEO of Kshemavana, Bengaluru. She was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Varamahalakshmi Puja and a religious formal stage program organized by the Women’s Wing of the Public Ganeshotsava Committee at the premises of the Kolli Durgadevi Temple in Ujire on Friday. Countering the common belief that Goddess Lakshmi is fickle, she emphasized that worshipping the Ashtalakshmis with devotion brings the grace of Vijayalakshmi, adding that the company of virtuous people is essential for safeguarding true wealth.
Delivering good wishes on the occasion, Anil Kumar, CEO of Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), commended the initiative. Renowned speaker Ashwini Aravind Hebbar from Mundaje delivered a religious discourse, highlighting how celebrating festivals publicly fosters community unity, mutual love, trust, and mutual respect. The event commenced with a welcome address by Jyothilakshmi, while Vanitha Umesh proposed the vote of thanks, and Meenakshi Mahabala Gowda hosted the program.
