Dharmasthala : His Holiness Vidyendratirtha Shripada, the revered seer of the Vijayadhwajatirtha Peetha located at Kulai Chitrapura in Mangaluru, arrived at the holy town of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala on Thursday. Upon his arrival in Ujire, the Swamiji was accorded a warm and grand reception, highlighted by a magnificent ceremonial procession.
Following the welcome, the Swamiji visited ‘Beedu’, the official residence of the Dharmadhikari, where a traditional ‘Pada Puja’ (foot worship) was performed in his honor. Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, the Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, respectfully honored the revered Shripada on behalf of the holy estate by draping a ceremonial shawl over him. The significant spiritual occasion was graced by the presence of Hemavathi V. Heggade, D. Harshendra Kumar, and Supriya Harshendra Kumar.
Later, Vidyendratirtha Shripada visited the temple to seek the divine blessings of Lord Sri Manjunatha Swamy and performed special prayers. During his visit, the Swamiji also took time to inspect the infrastructure at the temple town, specifically touring the ‘Annapurna Bhojanalaya’ (mega dining hall) and the newly organized queue management system known as ‘Sri Sannidhya’, expressing high praise for the smooth arrangements and facilities provided for the devotees.
