Mangaluru : The theme “From Wandering Monk to Global Teacher: The Journey of Swamiji” beautifully unveils the extraordinary life path of Swami Vivekananda and his invaluable message of universal humanity. Traveling across India as a young wandering monk, Swami Vivekananda directly experienced the country’s social, cultural, and spiritual realities. These profound experiences transformed him into a great icon of the era, dedicated to propagating human service, national awakening, and universal brotherhood.
Through his exceptional self-confidence, broad vision, and unwavering determination, Swami Vivekananda introduced the essence of Indian culture and Vedanta to the global stage. His historic address at the 1893 Chicago Parliament of Religions brought global recognition and immense honor to India. Swami Raghavendranandaji, President of the Ramakrishna Math in Nagpur, emphasized that Swamiji’s ideals—which instill inner strength, a spirit of service, leadership qualities, and nation-building thoughts among youth—continue to remain a perennial source of inspiration.
