Gadag: If things are done according to the law, it doesn’t suit the Congress party. They have always worked against the law and governed against the law. Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi is spreading false propaganda against SIR to cover up his defeat, said former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking to the media in Gadag, he said:
In Karnataka, Congress members have been winning through fake votes for so long. They used to make people vote in two different places, cast votes in two or three constituencies, and bring people in busloads. It is highly condemnable that the Chief Minister himself went and sat there without caring about his position, putting pressure on the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka out of anxiety that all of this will stop.

False Propaganda
It is an absolute lie to claim that Congress members are deleting the votes of Dalits and minorities. Out of the one crore votes deleted, all communities are included, and people from other states are also there. For example, about 45 lakh votes have been deleted in Bengaluru. Those are all double votes of people from outside the state or neighboring states who came here for work. Therefore, they are simply spreading some false propaganda against the BJP. Their statements clearly indicate that Dalits and backward classes are abandoning them.

Pure Lie
Responding to a question about the allegation that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is acting as a puppet of the BJP, he said that is also a pure lie. Now, if things are done according to the law, it doesn’t work for the Congress. They have always worked and governed against the law, and if anyone does things lawfully, they cannot accept it. Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi is making all these attempts to cover up his defeat. Even if elections are held ten more times, the Congress will never come to power in West Bengal.
