Mangaluu : MLA Dr. Bharath Shetty has reacted to Minister Priyank Kharge’s statements regarding the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) in the city. Shetty stated that the government, led by Siddaramaiah, is leading the state towards decline and is bringing up irrelevant issues to divert attention from this failure.

On RSS: “RSS is an organization of patriots. Whenever an accident occurs anywhere in the country, the RSS is the first to arrive at the spot and conduct rescue operations. ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ slogans are chanted in RSS Shakhas (branches), where they teach that the country comes first. Therefore, the RSS is a patriotic organization.”
Criticism of Congress: “Priyank Kharge and several other Congress leaders are focusing their attention on this patriotic organization. Their ideology seems to be that it is fine if Jihadi forces emerge in the country, but organizations that chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ should not exist. Congress members do not speak up even when Namaz is offered in public spaces.”
Focus on Governance: “The roads of Bengaluru are completely filled with potholes. Instead of solving the problems, the government is trying to silence those who speak about them. The government must focus on the state’s development and stop making baseless statements.”
Dr. Bharath Shetty urged the government to focus on the development of the state and stop engaging in unnecessary rhetoric.
