Mangaluru : Led by the Dakshina Kannada District BJP, party leaders and workers gathered in Mangaluru on Wednesday to celebrate the overwhelming victory of the NDA alliance candidates in the elections held for four seats of the Karnataka Legislative Council.
Speaking on the occasion, Dakshina Kannada Member of Parliament and BJP State Secretary Captain Brijesh Chowta stated that the state’s enlightened teachers and graduate voters have taught a fitting lesson to the anti-people Congress government led by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar by voting overwhelmingly in favor of the NDA.
MP Captain Brijesh Chowta, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath and Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty, MLC Kishore Kumar, former MLCs Capt. Ganesh Karnik and Monappa Bhandary, BJP District President Satish Kumpala, along with party leader Sanjay Prabhu and numerous party workers, distributed sweets and celebrated the historic victory with great enthusiasm.
