Ujire : Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, the Dharmadhikari of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala, emphasized that meditation is a powerful tool for achieving mental clarity and inner peace. Speaking at the valedictory ceremony of the three-day “Dhyana Mahayagna” organized by the Vishwa Chaitanya Quantum Foundation at the Amrutavarshini Hall in Dharmasthala, he noted that meditation effectively resolves mental confusion and fosters a tranquil environment within. He highlighted that by eliminating negative thoughts, meditation paves the way for a more positive and focused mindset, which is essential for personal growth.
Drawing a classic comparison, Dr. Heggade remarked that the human mind is often as restless as a monkey, constantly wandering from one thought to another. He asserted that meditation is the only discipline capable of controlling this inherent restlessness. To illustrate the global appeal of this practice, he recalled an instance from a few years ago when three German citizens resided at Shri Kshetra for nearly three years specifically to master meditation. Their dedication not only led to their own spiritual progress but also inspired many locals to take up meditation, proving that its benefits transcend geographical and cultural boundaries.
He further expressed his happiness over the participation of meditation enthusiasts from neighboring states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. Dr. Heggade lauded the efforts of the Vishwa Chaitanya Quantum Foundation in introducing people and devotees to the transformative power of dhyana, stating that concentration through meditation leads to both worldly success and spiritual realization. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Sai Kirtinath Swamiji, B. Shivaramappa, Yoga Mitra Dr. Subbu Bhaiya, and Dr. Shashikanth Jain, the Yoga Director of Shantivana Trust, among others.
