Man from Kumpala Dies After Being Hit by Train Near Thokkottu Overbridge

Thokkottu : A tragic incident occurred near the Thokkottu overbridge on Tuesday, where a man lost his life after being hit by a train. The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Kiran, a resident of Kumpala Lakshmigudde. According to reports, the mishap took place while he was sitting near the railway track and was struck by a passing train.

Upon receiving information, the railway police visited the spot to conduct an investigation and discovered a mobile phone in the pocket of the deceased. Using the phone records, the police were able to establish his identity and subsequently informed his family members. A case has been officially registered by the railway police regarding the incident.
