Upon reaching the location, the MP interacted with senior MRPL management officials and the Mangaluru Police Commissioner to obtain a comprehensive update on the incident and the ongoing emergency protocols. Expressing deep anguish over the demise of 23-year-old contract worker Manish Karkera, Captain Brijesh Chowta stated that the loss of life in the ONGC-MRPL tragedy is deeply painful. He assured that the injured individuals are currently undergoing medical treatment and receiving the best possible healthcare assistance, with the plant management extending all necessary support for their speedy recovery.
